  1. Consumption alert, audiophilia edition (image via boingboing) I bought these Radius “Atomic Bass” headphones yesterday from Stereo Exchange on Broadway. They’re badly named, but decently designed and make the below song sound tranformatively better than with Apple earbuds. Maybe that’s not saying much, but it’s very good quality audio for the price/size. Not as good as my Grado SR80s, but i needed something portable for the commute/office that i could wear for hours (Grado are painful after 2 hrs). And this in-ear style is not as weird as i feared. machinetext recommends Etymotic ER4S headphones. whatever.
