did i mention that i got punched in the face? i spent some quality time with the good officers and detectives of the 88th precinct, but a positive id was near impossible. while riding around in the patrol car after being mugged, three other calls came in over the radio nearly identical to my case. just without the face punching.
LESSON, people: don’t walk down a dark, deserted street talking on the phone late at night, no matter how close you are to an area where you think people don’t get mugged. it happened. be smart(er).
