Bill Brand’s “Masstransiscope,” painted in the abandoned Myrtle Avenue subway station. Take the Q or B train over the Manhattan bridge from Dekalb st. Look through the window on the north side before you reach the bridge and this is what you’ll see. The piece works on the principle of the Zoetrope, a 19th century optical toy. more on the restoration.
